Whenever you look up at the clear blue sky and see the Five-Starred Red Flag waving in the wind, what will you think of? On the evening of April 16th, teachers from the Junior High Department of the west campus gathered in the lecture hall to follow the footsteps of teacher Li Qiang and witness the efforts of Chinese astronauts.
Initially, ‘To the Spaceport’, one of writer Li Mingsheng's seven steps in space flight, tells the story of the first launch of the US Asia 1 satellite by a Long March-3 rocket from the Xichang launch site, and records the glorious moment of China's space industry, which presents to readers the efforts and hardships that Chinese spaceflight personnel have made to promote the great development of China's space industry.
Later on, teacher Li Qiang described the three things that impressed him the most in the book, from which he felt the Chinese nation's hard-working and dedicated spirit. It is the hard work and unremitting self-improvement of Chinese people with dedication and noble character that have promoted China's development and strength, and enabled our great motherland to stand up and become strong.
In life, perhaps we will also meet a lot of difficulties and disasters, however, we should not retreat or fear, and we can not bow to difficulties. Instead, only by persistent endeavor can we have a chance to get over difficulties and overcome disasters.
In summary, it's hoped that we can turn the corner in the face of difficulties and live in the sun.
